‘Freedom 2020’; Inspired by the lifting of Lockdown restrictions in 2020 (following the Pandemic crises), abstract impasto acrylic paintings reflect the anticipation and the appreciation of freedom.

Created using a palette knife in acrylic, 'Autumn Golds’, was developed from my imagination. The colours were inspired by the trees that lined the motorway I drove down mid-October. I wanted to savour the hues that I admired and I kept this in my mind as I applied my palette to the canvas.
