Entitled 'The Guardian' this pencil drawn image shows a scene witnessed in person at Mersham Deer park, whilst out walking. The grazing deer, unaware of our presence, were suddenly joined by a goose, known for their protective nature, who placed itself between us and the deer with out stretched wings offering a barrier of safety to the deer.
